R1250GS & R1200GS AeroGards
AeroGards flowing curves and arcs are designed to eliminate wind noise, turbulence and buffeting. Expand the envelope of protection for drivers and passengers by deflecting airflow out and away from the hands, arms, shoulders and sides of torso. They also enhance and calm windscreen airflow at the sides of the helmet.
Attach to HandFlare Extensions
AeroGards attach to the HandFlare Extensions (HFX) with a nylon screw and nut – HFX’s are required to mount the AeroGards. Adventure AeroGards also attach with the stock side deflector mounting screws. Non-Adventure AeroGards attach to the bodywork with three 1″ square Dual-Lok pieces.
AeroGards create the most dramatic improvement possible in driver protection without resorting to a complete re-design of the bodywork of the bike, which would be prohibitively expensive.
