Sportier look, tapered sides, flared at the top.

We borrowed the flared top of the Hybrid AeroScreen and trimmed down the sides for a sportier feel.  The flared top reduces wind noise, turbulence, back-pressure and buffeting while the tapered sides allow more cooling air to your shoulders.  Allows driver to comfortably see over the screen while providing excellent over-the-helmet coverage and good 2-up protection.  Screens are available in Clear only.

More aerodynamically efficient shape

We’ve created a more aerodynamically efficient shape by smoothing out the surface contours and perimeter shape.  By doing away with the stock screen’s “V”-shaped top, we’ve lowered the AeroScreen’s operating angle, bringing the top of the screen closer to the driver which provides better helmet protection at a lower screen height.

Wider than stock

All GT AeroScreens are 21-1/2″ wide at the widest point, which is 10″ up from the bottom of the screen.  The stock screen is also 21 1/2″ wide but at 16-3/8″ from the bottom of the screen.  By lowering the widest point, the AeroScreen decreases the amount of air that sweeps around the screen as it’s raised providing more protection.

Excellent coverage at a lower screen position

We’ve increased the air intake at the bottom of the screen to allow more airflow along the backside of the AeroScreen.  The airflow that is traveling along the backside, combines with the air traveling along the front of the screen, at the flared top. When these 2 airflows combine, the air is pushed up and over your helmet(s), eliminating back-pressure, wind noise and turbulence.

Optimum airflow occurs when the AeroScreen is raised no more than 2″ from full down, and at that point, we want the top of the AeroScreen to be nose to lip level. When you raise the screen more than 2″ from full down, you increase the gap between the screen and dash, increasing the air that hits your torso, arms, shoulders and helmet.  Generally, a taller screen in a lower position will work better than a shorter screen raised all the way up.

Available in 3 heights

Use the measurements to determine where the top edge of the GT AeroScreen will be relative to your line of sight. Ideally, we want the top of the AeroScreen to be nose to lip level when raised no more than 2″.  With your bike off the center stand, raise your stock screen 1″ to 2″ from the full down position.

  • Standard: 1″ taller than stock.
  • Medium:  2 1/4″ taller than your stock screen.
  • Tall:  3  7/8″ taller than your stock screen.
  • Extra Tall: 5 5/8″ taller than your stock screen.

General screen height recommendations

Standard height: Riders up to 5′-9″
Medium height: 5′-9″ drivers with long torso or taller seats up to 6′-1″
Tall height: Drivers over 6′-1″
Extra Tall: Drivers over 6’1″ with a long torso, barback, aftermarket seat, etc.
