Off-Road AeroScreen Design:

Available in Smoke and Clear.  AeroScreens smooth contours and perimeter shapes create much smoother airflow than the stock screen reducing wind noise. Great for sport riding, around town driving or short trips.  Although shorter than stock, the increased width at the top provides a smoother, quieter ride.

Height Recommendations & AeroScreen Dimensions:
Standard Height AeroScreen: 8 3/4" in length, 17" wide.
Great off-road screen! Smaller size allows an unobstructed view, with little chance of breakage if bike goes down.

Medium Height AeroScreen:  11 3/4" length, 17" wide.

Over the helmet airflow is achievable for riders approximately 5'8" or shorter depending on seat height, use of bar-risers, etc.  Blocks air to chest of drivers for riders 5'9" to 6' leaving helmet in clean air.

Tall Height AeroScreen: 14 1/2" length, 17" wide.
Over the helmet airflow is achievable for riders, approximately 5'11" or shorter depending on seat height, use of bar-risers, etc.  Blocks air to chest of drivers for riders over 6', leaving helmet in clean air.

R1200GS/GSA & R1250GS/GSA Off Road Smoke AeroScreen:

1. Adjusting screen from full-down to full up will lift air about 5" at face or body.
2. Seat height adjustment from Low to High position drops where air hits face or body by about 3".

Screen Height Adjustment Warning:
Operating Instructions and Adjustment Warnings:

Quoted Warning from BMW R1200GSW Owner's Manual, Page 63, under "Adjusting Windshield": "Windshield adjustments while riding represent an accident hazard. Adjust windshield while stopped only."

AeroFlow also recommends that you stop to adjust the windscreen.

However, should it become necessary to adjust the screen while driving at higher speeds and/or in heavy wind conditions, air pressure on the AeroScreen may make it impossible to adjust the windscreen.

Do Not Adjust the Windscreen Up or Down if the "Adjuster Handwheel" (Knob) Does Not Turn Easily. Trying to adjust the windscreen when the adjusting knob does not turn easily Can Break the Screen Adjusting Mechanism!

If the windscreen adjusting knob does not turn, you must either slow down 'til the adjusting knob turns easily, or stop the bike and adjust the screen as BMW recommends.

It is imperative that you heed these warnings and operating instructions.

AeroFlow, Corp will not be held responsible for, nor liable for any damage to the bike's Windscreen Adjusting Mechanism, the windscreen, or any related components, under any circumstances including failure to read or follow the warnings and precautions.
