Screen Height Adjustment Warning:
Operating Instructions and Adjustment Warnings:
Quoted Warning from BMW R1200GSW Owner's Manual, Page 63, under "Adjusting Windshield": "Windshield adjustments while riding represent an accident hazard. Adjust windshield while stopped only."
AeroFlow also recommends that you stop to adjust the windscreen.
However, should it become necessary to adjust the screen while driving at higher speeds and/or in heavy wind conditions, air pressure on the AeroScreen may make it impossible to adjust the windscreen.
Do Not Adjust the Windscreen Up or Down if the "Adjuster Handwheel" (Knob) Does Not Turn Easily. Trying to adjust the windscreen when the adjusting knob does not turn easily Can Break the Screen Adjusting Mechanism!
If the windscreen adjusting knob does not turn, you must either slow down 'til the adjusting knob turns easily, or stop the bike and adjust the screen as BMW recommends.
It is imperative that you heed these warnings and operating instructions.
AeroFlow, Corp will not be held responsible for, nor liable for any damage to the bike's Windscreen Adjusting Mechanism, the windscreen, or any related components, under any circumstances including failure to read or follow the warnings and precautions.
